about

I've lost interest in chronology here, it seems, as Bonedry Bottle didn't come around until 2oo3, and Hypothermia likewise. But they are some more 4-tracks. I'm missing plenty still. The search continues. The sculpture on the cover there is one I made from some discarded wood at Milepost 5 in Portland in 2o13. I wrote on the blocks DO NOT FIX THIS BROKEN WORLD, but you could flip the top block to say WHY NOT FIX THIS BROKEN WORLD. I want to make one with numerous switchable blocks but so far I am too lazy. Many of these got to be Antique Sixguns songs, along with Crows and Allelu, which somehow I never got around to mulching. Somewhere online I think there must be Antique Sixguns records. As you can see I'm not the most organized kid in class.
The last song (Intermission) I made on Dr. Paul Lee's lovely electronic piano. I spent an afternoon at his place going through its effects and found this one, that reminded me dimly of Balinese Gamelan music. So, this happened. This tape was misplaced for years (I am still processing boxes of tapes to computer so, more to come) and if you think eight minutes of it is too much of this song think how I had to hear it at least three times: one to record it, the next to listen to it while adding drums, and then again to add the plastic slackstring guitar with the hole in its back that I found on the street. I thought of this song as a practical joke on the listener but now I find it soothing.
