This is both Okanogan Dog Songs records. There were a fair amount of other people's songs so I left those out and the two records boiled down to one that way. This is from 2oo8 - 2o1o, Spokane, though I wrote Stream in Valatie in 1997, Bonedry Bottle in 2oo3 and Bodicerippers in 2oo2, so: do-overs . .
The dog's name was Curly. He had a love affair going with one of the coyotes up in the hills outside of Chesaw, Washington. They would sing mournful love threnodies back and forth all night long, telling of yearning and longing for the impossible, the never of always.
